Elevated levels of lead in water present in Chicago Public School District

This article reports extensively on the elevated levels of lead that have recently been discovered in more than two dozen schools within the Chicago Public School District (CPS). According to CPS, water has been tested at 265 of the 324 schools that are more than 30 years old. Of the 87 schools whose results have been returned, 26 of them have at least one fixture with excess lead levels. The report includes a map of the schools where lead has been detected, as well as a link to the school testing results on the CPS website.
