AquaGuidance proprietary drinking water filter medias come from years of focused R&D in addressing challenging contaminants.

The First Fully Customizable Metals Sorbent On The Market!

AGMS Metals Sorbent Medias are blends of individually processed exclusive and proprietary sorbent materials that can be quickly combined to produce the ideal lead or metals sorbent for any specific application.

Blending allows AquaGuidance to produce the best sorbent additive medias for a specific carbon block filter design to maximize performance and cost savings for block manufacturers versus traditional “one size fits all” sorbent offerings that have been around for decades.

  • Making specific AGMS media blends for your needs.
  • AquaGuidance can offer the highest capacity and best kinetics in the marketplace today.
  • AquaGuidance Lab Services support your mix optimization for your diverse product line.

Uniquely removes viruses from real world, organic-laden water in gravity-fed situations without the use of power, pressurized pumping, or chemicals!

AquaGuidance has developed the world’s first gravity-fed water filtration media (patents pending) capable of removing harmful live viruses in the presence of organic acids, downstream of common cyst and bacteria gravity-flow filters, such as ceramics or hollow fiber membranes, in order to pass full NSF/ANSI Protocol P231-2003 requirements without the use of chemicals, power, or pressure.

Our filters have been tested by a very well respected, independent third-party microbiological lab, with close connections to the US military, which has attested to successfully passing microbiological purifier NSF/ANSI P231 testing, demonstrating greater than required 4-log (99.99%) virus reduction.

  • Does not need chemicals
    • No more guessing about variable chemical dosage challenges
    • No objectionable taste and odor
    • No shelf-life limitation or special packaging of chemicals
    • No carcinogenic disinfection by-products such as Trihalomethanes (THMs) and Haloacetic acids (HAAs)
  • Does not need power, or piped pressure, or pumping
  • Works in GTW3 challenge water with humic acid
  • We have also developed a clean water (GTW1) version for use in second-world, emerging middle-class domestic settings, offering higher flow rates
  • Also reduces lead, other heavy metals, chlorine and chloramine. (More testing is needed to fully quantify these performance claims.)
